Reading and Writing

How many books do you read in a week?

Five to ten. Plus or minus. It depends on how much work I have to do.

How many times have you reread (insert favorite book here)?

Eek! Do I have a favorite book? This is a toughy. I might have to ask for a compromise and list a few of my favorites (in no particular order).

  1. Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie: 5 times

  2. Erec et Enide by Chretien de Troyes: 4 times (only once in Old French)

  3. David Eddings (The Belgariad, The Mallorean, The Elenium, and the Tamuli): 4 times each

  4. The Lymond Chronicles Series by Dorothy Dunnett: 2 times (though I'd read it again if the person who borrowed the first book in the series would return it—yeah, that's a hint)

  5. Nobody's Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips: 5 times

Is it true that you have the best critique partners the world has ever known?

Well... Grin. Just kidding. The Scarlets are the best.

The Personal Stuff

How long would it take you to whup someone's ass?

Depends on how long I want to toy with them.

Do you really like it when your sister irons your hair?

Um, do you know how freaking long it takes? But when my hair is straight and shiny it's worth it. Almost. Unless there's moisture in the air and it curls up again.

Does the mythical Nate really exist or is he just a figment of your creative imagination?

If I did make him up, he's my best character yet.
