What I'm Reading
I read all the time, and I read a lot of different genres. Often, it's for researchto see who's publishing what type of book. But that's not to say I don't read for pleasure. And this page is devoted purely to pleasure.
An Old Standby
I've had a hard time reading lately. Not that I don't have timeit's more that I haven't read any books that wowed me. So I decided to go to an old standby I knew would be satisfying: a book by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.
I'd never read First Lady, so I picked it up. Classic SEP, with engaging characters, fun situations, and a touching end. The repartee between the hero and heroine is greatso great, I got dialogue envy. I guess it's a small price to pay.
More Time-Travel
I'm not much for time-travel romances, which is a testament to Sword of the Highlands. I read the whole book twice before it was publish. I just read it again and I still love it.
Why? James Graham. Can we say delicious? A real historical figure, Veronica's taken him and given him new life. He's witty, he's sexy, and he's got depth. Exactly the historical hero you want to read about.
